Florida was HOT…and then some!!!                          

                …And here’s what happened!!
 

On the way down to Florida, we stopped at Purina Farms for the Jefferson Co KC Dog Show.  My dear friend, Patty Huffman, showed “Paulo”, Ch Bleugras Don’t Think Twice, under the highly respected j. Mr. Spritzer – who awarded Paulo BEST OF  BREED!!--  defeating several Champions including the Champion who later won the National Specialty!!

On Tuesday, we arrived in Gainesville, FL and I handled Chuck and Li’l –outside—at the Panhandle GSP Club of Florida.   The weather sizzled and Li’l and I baked in the sun—and on the last “go-round” I took a wrong step  and couldn’t run at all for the rest of the week!!!  So luckily for me, Kayla Rost, Junior Handler * took over and showed my Chuck & Lil  the rest of the Nationals’ week!! 

                    AND WHAT A SHOWING SHE MADE!!!

In the National GSP Club Puppy Sweepstakes, Kayla, only 16 years old, showed “Li’l”, Bleugras Li’l Pink Cadillac,  to the utmost perfection and FLEW around the ring BARELY TOUCHING THE GROUND with her!!

…AND THEN—

The Judge, highly respected breeder and head of the National GSP Club Breed Education, Ms. Patte Titus, awarded our BLEUGRAS LI’L PINK CADILLAC the great honor of BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES 2010—over an entry of 114 of the finest young German Shorthairs nationwide, Mexico & Canada!!

Words cannot express our gratitude to Kayla – for taking over this showing of my dogs and for winning the National Sweeps for us!!
