Millie did it!!!!. Mille earned her Utility Dog title on Saturday with a 192.5 score.  There is  MORE,  she  won  the  class and got 4 OTCH points plus her first Utility B towards her OTCH!!

Millie received her UD still being 3 years old. I am so proud of my little girl!!!

Hey Eve,

I have good news about Millie.  We went to Charleston, SC this weekend and showed in Utility A.  Millie received her first 2 UD legs and took first place both days.  Millie was the only qualifier on Saturday and only 2 dogs qualified on Sunday out of 9 dogs.

Millie has shown in this class 6 times and only being 3 did great.  Previously she only missed 1 exercise each try.

I am so proud of my little girl.  The judge on Sunday stated Millie’s heeling was beautiful.

It is with heavy heart that we report the passing of our good friend, Professional Dog Handler Mr. Neil Ritter.  We have known Neil for over 35 years.  He has shown many of the Bleugras dogs for us, the most famous of all was our/his beloved
Ch Bleugras Buzz Lightyear who was killed at a show in 2001 during his campaign.

 She is the foundation dam of Canil Barretos. She came to Brazil bred to CH Bleugras Texas Justice. The litter gave us brother and sister World Champions, a great achievement for us. The boy, Bolero, was also a Multi BIS in Brazil e BIS in Argentina.

We have no word to express our gratitude to Eve Gale Parsons for sending us the very best of her Bleugras bloodlines. Sugar is one of 13 Champions out of Jason x Hooters 2X breedings. Eve, she never had a major health problem. All of her puppies grew up strong and healthy.

Canil Barretos wouldn't exist without her. Congratulations for you birthday, our beloved Sugar!

Our weekend couldn't  be better. Lin (Barretos Linsatiny), our big GSP baby, made his entree in the world dog show in style: he won the adult Group in the International Dog Show of Clube Paulistano do Cinofilia, under the Australian judge Darren Bowey. Mr. Bowey also gave him the prize of Best Junior In Show. The handler Ash Oldfield did a awesome job with our boy. Lin & Ash are a beautiful work in progress.

We are excited about our new dogs and willing to do our best to make dog shows in Brazil better. We strongly believe that there are people with good ideas, good dogs and good intentions, if everyone does a little bit to improve we can have a better and bigger dog show scene.

Gr CH Barretos Sweet Lorraine got 3º. of BIS at Kennel Club Joinville, last Saturday. Our appreciation to the judge José Arnaldo de Medeiros Neto. Congrats to handler Tuta Campana for one more BIS placement.  Lorraine has only been shown in 5 circuits and is currently ranked as #2 GSP in the official CBKC rankings. Way to go, Loló!!!
